Going to try and quit again

I'm going to try and quit again from tomorrow night and was wondering if it is ok to drink loads of coke and eat lots of food instead of beer?

It's better than putting that poison substances in your body.

Why don't you drink water better? Remember, alcohol dehydrated you.

I have been drinking some Cole Zero, but lots more green tea and water with lemon. Today is day 47 for me, you can definitely do this. Read Dee'd link to coming up with a plan, in the past when I haven't had a solid plan, or when I became lax on mine is when I have failed.

Looking forward to hearing how your first day went later.

Having a plan is vital whether it's AA Smart Lifering or here at SR Oz

I think something sweet is suggested but try to throw some fruit & veg in there

I had a dish of ice cream whenever I had a bad craving and that seemed to help, but it was a short-term fix while I got more stable. I was able to stop that too after a few months.

Healthy eating, sleep and exercise also help.
