Detoxing at home
Detoxing at home
I am home detoxing alone again. The day is winding down thank God and maybe I'm going to see it through. I've drink a whole big bottle of Gatorade today. I ate some rice. I'm going to make spaghetti for dinner. I hope I will finally learn this time. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Thanks for listening guys.

There was a time when I didn't think I could ever get sober. But with the encouragement of the members here, and my counselor, I didn't give up. I kept trying until I finally 'got it'. And now I have over six years. You can too.
Well I've started attending meetings… That's a pretty big deal for me. I really love the meeting today. I'm going to try to get to one tomorrow. I'm so tired of hiding this and making up stories that's why I was thinking of just coming clean, but I think I'll think about that for a few days. I feel like I might be able to do it this time.

I have been lying about and hiding things for so long. I have been dreading coming clean about so much. I have been getting honest little by little, everyone is reacting so much better than I expected, and I feel like years of weight is coming off my shoulders. Of course when it comes to employers and such, that's harder. Getting honest with some close family and friends has been a big step for me.

I've been thinking about you love. So glad to see you.
You know you have all of our love and support, and going to meetings sounds really positive.
My first sponsor used to tell me "it takes what it takes" until I wanted to throw something at her. But she was right, and when we reach the point where we know that this is not OK for one second longer, then we can truly move forward.
Huge hugs. ♥

I found pedialyte (kids rehydration drink for when they are sick) ,works so much better than Gatorade because it has less sugar. A vitamin B complex is good too in the beginning (I took half of one). Watch a movie tonight and get some sleep.
