You all are the best. :

Getting sober has done a lot more for me than keeping me from killing myself with liquor. I was a shell of a person when I got to this forum. I was bitter & bad, like wine turned to vinegar. I thought that life was like me: hard on the outside and empty inside.

Quitting drinking was just the first step in unlearning a whole lifetime. But it crossed the threshold.

I'm deeply grateful for these last 2 years and to everyone I've learned from along the way, including Ray (grtgrandpa) and Robby. None of us ever has to drink again. Isn't that a comfort?
