Woke up feeling great... Having coffee,breakfast and a morning cig(quitting those soon,right now I need them!..lol)Yesterday was tough,craving a cold beer but stayed strong!..Haven't been this sober in 30 years..The clarity is amazing!!!

Congrats! Great feeling, isn't it?

I have grown to LOVE mornings. I remember as a [much younger] young adult, I would spring out of bed, even in college. I feel as if I'm slowly getting back to my old self. Even my husband remarked this morning, "you are so different now - you're actually pleasant and have so much energy in the mornings. I like it!"

Thanks! Yes,it's awesome... As a Chef,all my colleagues booze it up hard on Saturday s and they were all suffering through our shift...I could smell it on them..I thought to myself. "God, did I smell like that?".. I'm sure I did...My taste and smell senses are like superhero strength now!! A Fantastic thing for my profession!

The things I can taste and smell now are miles past where it was before I quit.

It isn't easy to stop given the Chef lifestyle I imagine. . .
