I am one year sober today. And it feels so good to say that. You won't believe me if you're just starting out but it does get easier. I promise. Just take it one day at a time during those early days. You're just not going to drink today. Don't worry about the birthday coming up or the work drinks on Friday. Just do it for today. And then do it for today tomorrow too. And the next day. And before you know it's you've been doing it for today for 365 days, you couldn't feel better and your drinking days feel like a lifetime ago. You got this. Trust me.
