How people feeling , with 2 month of opitates
Hey what's up , my name is hank, today I have been clean off opitates for 60 days, I leave to go to treatment on feb25 , just like to get some insight were people are at this stage of recovery, I have been oxy for twenty years never had the desire to come off them, until I had no choice, made some promises and I have stuck to them, and now my journey has begun, would love to hear some feedback??

Keep your peace!
Hi, first time I've ever posted here, so unsure of the protocol?
Really wanting to say, well done!!
I've been opiate addicted (ok, heroin) for 15 years.
Have had periods of clean time, up to 2years, so I know what you've been thru.
It's not easy is it? But it's definitely worth it, as you're no doubt appreciating right now.
Every day you're not using is a day you're living.
Rehab's amazing, if I were to offer you any advice it'd be to give yourself fully.
'trust the process'
It does work, open, honest, and willing is what was asked of me.
And as long as you're that, you're set.
You're moving in the right direction pal, and i wish you very well.
What helps me when I'm struggling is the thought/fact that I can have my active addiction back anytime I want it.
That waiting right around the corner for me!!!
I don't wanna wake up sick, be constantly worrying about 'later'
so I just have to keep reminding myself that, I'm an addict, I can't use once or twice.
Do I like that?
Hell no!
But do I like active addiction?
Pah, does anyone?
Hank, the rest of your life is waiting for you to come and get it.
All the best, and make the damn most of it.

Amazing job on 60 days clean! That is a big accomplishment and shows that you have what it takes to be successful in recovery! Keep it up and take everything you can get out of rehab. Im clean from opiates and know the struggles they bring and do not miss 1 second of it because I never want to go through withdrawals again. I never want to be counting pills, worrying about staying 'well', my supply, and playing all the games that come along with active addiction again.
