All I got is...uh huh!

Um, yeah....that's all I got reading this....thought it may resonate with some of y'all, too-at least the last few years were like this almost daily for me, and my children.

All of the above. In addition to "that wasn't my intention. You are reading into this completely wrong". Thanks for the post.

5 Things Sociopaths and Narcissists Say to Make You Feel Crazy - The Minds Journal
Thanks, Forourgirls. I spent 15 years with a narcissist and never knew if I was coming or going. We're divorced now, 4 years, and they have been the best years in a very long time!

OMG For. Now I'm pissed again. If it wasn't for the fact that I blocked him 3 months ago and DO NOT want to open that door even a smidge, I would email it to him...

So very true, once I threatened the illusion of normalcy that he presented to the world . . . uh huh . . . It is great little article, but it made my stomach twist. Creep.

^ sorry, friend! Didn't mean to **** you off!! You know that they have no self awareness of their truly evil and abusive actions so emailing it to him would do no good. It's just a game to them. Peace, RO!

Thanks for posting, but it is a trigger. But then I think he is gone now, and the relief I feel is indescribable.

(hugs)

A very good find for sure. When you see it written by someone besides yourself, you start to feel normal again.

This part REALLY hit home for me: "The good news is, when a psychopath tries to make you doubt your intuition, it means your intuition was causing them trouble. Psychopaths seek to psychologically destroy anyone who might threaten their illusion of normalcy to the world. So when they begin playing mind games with you, it’s actually a strange indirect tribute to your ability to notice that something was “off” about them."

This fits my ex to a "T". Here I just thought she was a drunken wh**e all this time. Turns out she was a SocioPath as well, or instead of.

Got a hold on one in my life. Reading this made me think of him and I threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Oh goodness, I got every single one of these, all the time. I still do, even though my contact is VERY LIMITED.

It just amazes me that I did not see through it for so very long, and it makes me sad that this is the person my children have to have as a father.

Thanks for sharing. I'm with you, Lilro. My first thought was to email that, as well, but I don't want to open that door either!
