New here and there
Just sober one week. I'm looking to keep pace with people who succeed in a happy life without alcohol...advice and anything.
I am humbly aware I am powerless.... For about 10 years... Only said this out loud a week ago.

Hi and welcome! It was hard for me to shift focus and habits to living without alcohol but I did it. I hung out here a lot, I went to AA meetings to meet with other sober people. Being around both showed me it can be done.

Welcome carmj, we're all in the same boat, this olace is fantastic & feel very strongly taht its helped me get my life back on track.
Unless ur an alcoholic its very hard to understand which is why coming here is perfect.
I can honestly say that im feeling happy & its so nice not waking up feeling like s**t & having that immediate 'bbeer fear' trying to piece together what happened & who u upset!!!x
