It's been 27 days & 16 hours since alcohol has last touched my lips. This is my 4th time getting sober and so far 28 days is the longest I've made it. It's been hard, but I love being sober. Ok, maybe I don't love it, but it makes life just a little bit easier. I'm an alcoholic. 20 years from now I'll still be an alcoholic. I just pray that I continue to be an alcoholic who does not drink. I'm in one of those moods tonight, but I'm not going to drink. It'll pass and in the morning I'll be very very thankful for 28 days of sobriety.

Congratulations on 28 days. That is wonderful!

You are right, the low mood will pass. I read something earlier today, "No one ever regretted not drinking the night before." I never did.
