Phone Interview
Hey Y'all,
I just had a phone interview for a job in a cool place working with a tech product I think is cool. I might get it, I might not. I might like that job if I get it, I might not.
The cool thing is if I had not stopped drinking, I probably would have no money saved, I would probably be miserable and not know why, I would probably be sitting in a bar complaining about my current job, and I probably would not have applied and not had that phone interview today.
Honestly, the interview is a lot less important to me than it would have been while I was still drinking. Rarely is something your only opportunity. I am so glad not drinking helped me realize that.
That said, I would rather be SoberInOR.

Thanks for asking. It went great! An hour flew bye on the phone. I have a follow-up interview tomorrow with management. At lot of my worries went away over the phone. I had myself psyched-out before the interview. I don't value my own experience enough. Personal high, right now. Feels good.
