The Power of having a Plan
Hello everyone,
Today is my 7th day sober and 5th day without cigarettes! I owe much of my sanity and success to the kindness and support of everyone here. Last Saturday I was in complete and total despair and hopelessness. I can hardly imagine that just one week later I am full of hope, strength, and purpose. How miraculous!
I created a daily treatment plan for myself and I am so glad I am encouraged to make it. It has helped me to stay focus because I tend to be a bit scattered brain at times.
Anyways, I just like to share with you guys my plan maybe it could be helpful to you too:
My Simple Daily Plan (A Self Rehab Treatment) =P
1. Say at least 3 positive affirmations in the mirror in the morning
2. Meditation 20 minutes a day
3. Exercise 30 minutes a day
4. Write down 7 things I am grateful for
5. Work with other alcoholics
6. Journal
7. Be kind to self and others
Thank you ALL
Good luck on your journeys!

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Thanks for sharing this awesome plan! I read something almost exactly like it in a book about peak performance. It basically said highly effective people have certain practices they do every day, such as: meditation, exercise, gratitude, journaling, and affirmations.
So I predict you will progress from this first big accomplishment (sobriety) and go on to hit new heights in every area of your life.

Excellent and there is tremendous power in recovery helping others as you have listed, as a word of encouragement don't forget to help yourself, sometimes we all need help, at least in my case I do and am fortunate to be accountable to an addictions counselor weekly to discuss where I am, what I am doing and where I am headed and with his help I fine tune the plan to ensure Andrew stays on course and sober.
