You decided to quit for some reason. If you drink now at 9 days you'll end up back here saying you're on day 1 again. I know it's hard.. I'm struggling right now as well .. only 2 days into this .. but if you've made it 9 days please don't reset it back to day 1.

Good work on 9 days sober!

In a frustrating situation like that, you need to do something physical to help you relax. You could go for a walk, call a friend, put on some loud music, anything that helps you to relax a bit.

I used to drink when I was mad too, then I woke up the next day even madder than I was because I felt horrible.

Hi MBrown, I have found that being aware of the HALTs has been helpful, the HALTs are moods that can trigger you to drink/use.

H ungry
A ngry
L onely
T ired

I have found when I'm craving it's usually because I am in one of these states. Just being aware of this is helpful.

Congrats on 9 days, stay strong
