Coming back
After looking at my profile, ironically I quit drinking 4 years ago on the 1st. Well that lasted a little over a year and then I had one drink and fought the resistance for awhile and drank moderately. Well I am sure you all know the rest of that story. Today is day 2 so far so good a little irritable, but so far so good. Keep me in your prayers and hopefully I can keep this up.

I once had 3 yrs. sober & decided I could moderate. Off I went for 7 years. That's when I joined SR & found the courage to change my life. You can do this.

I also got to a little over a year, then have had a rather average year ....
Perhaps we could think about all the things we did that got us a nice stretch of time last time, and then think of what else we can add and do to the mix to keep it going permanently this time.
For me I know part of the problem was I believed one day I could try moderation.... I really thought I could. Turns out I can't.

Could you check with your parish or priest? Even anonymously. I bet they would have knowledge of programs and specific meetings with a good number of Catholics in attendance. Lots of Catholics in AA meetings I used to attend in another city.
