Sober since Sunday

Just wanted to check in. I haven't had a drink since 1pm Saturday. I'm marking Sunday as my sober day. I've been on vacation with my family (mom brother, kids) and it's been nice to be able to wake up and not think "what did I do?" I feel pretty good, no more withdrawal symptoms, trying to boost my body with vitamins.
I am so happy to be almost done with day 4 and know day 5 and day 6 are wishing reach. I'll be so excited when I can say 7 days!!

Yes, it's such a relief to be free of the drama and misery. Nice work, julesonya.

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Hi! I'm new here and working to get sober again. I had a few false starts but one thing I do remember is how amazingly awesome it felt to be clean even just for a few days!

Just roll with it, build the momentum, look for inspirational sources that fuel your passion to be free. I found a lot of great stuff on youtube. People that had gotten sober and their lives just blew up and went to a whole different level! I start every morning with a search on there such as "benefits of quitting drinking."

My cousin finished a 28 day rehab between October and November. She's been doing great ever since and the day after Christmas her long time boyfriend proposed to her. Good things happen when we live a sober and present life
