If you're having problems, might be good to see your doctor. Six days sober is too early for PAWS. You're still in acute withdrawal. See a doctor if you're feeling that bad.

4 Catscans and 1 Brain MRI , and they said it look great. I mentioned Werniekes to the Nurse and she said it is just anxiety and I am fine...So I am just hoping this is just some PAWS confusion , and dizziness here at play..Possibly some some effects from the Cymbalta crud they yanked me off of yesterday....

Saw a Dr yesterday , the tremors have quit , minor muscle rigidity...Still focusing on my Gait because a Catscan tech mentioned my gait was off...

Then again , on top of all this, I have TMJ , which may be adding to all this as well as severe cervical stenosis from to many bike wrecks I think..

Ayee...heads just a big ole pile of mess right now...

Ataxia is uncoordinated with hands and legs , Need to consciously think about where you are placing your legs , and concentrate and where to put your hand to pick stuff up...TMJ is basicly a lockjaw sort of issue...

Have had my head hit way to may times between car and bike wrecks...

If like me you drank for years prior to getting Sober it's going to take some time for the body to heal, both physically, mentally and emotionally, it's going to take time and there are no quick fixes, but it will get better.

Hang in there!!

Thank you Knight...I am coming off SSRI , and SNRI and Beer are at the same time...And trying to work all at the same time...I do remote tech support , and it requires tons of focus..Been doing this job for 16 years and feels like I just started it over the last week... "You're calling on what???".. Good Lord , something knocked my groove out of whack big time...I thought I heard somewhere that this was going to be easy.... ***hack....*

PAWS is generally something you would see weeks or months after the initial withdrawals are done; which themselves can take a week or so just with Alcohol alone. With all rhe different drugs you have quit and/or are still taking it may take even longer.

If you've been told by your doctor that it may be anxiety after all the tests, it could certainly be that along with the withdrawals. Stay close with your doc, sounds like the new one is helping out. Things will improve with time and not drinking is of course paramount.

If you were 'yanked off' a med yesterday, I'd start there - see your Dr?

Sorry , yeah, my New Dr. who has a brain pulled me off several meds he didn't think were necessary , which is what I meant by yanked me off them .. He's going for a full blown bare basics reset on me apparently.. Which is weird to say the least...Cleaning the slate so to speak..

I have faith in him , but my brain is hating it at the moment...Turn my head to quick one way and things don't stop spinning for a few seconds...
