Day 32
So happy to be posting that I'm on day 32! I'm struggling a bit with expecting my husband to somehow forget all the hell my drinking has caused over the last few years. I have to remind myself that I've caused a ton of damage and it could be years before he fully trusts me again. All I can do is.stay sober and have faith that the rest will fall into place. If anyone reading this is struggling thru the first month, stick with it. Don't drink.

Serenity: Congrats on 32 days! You are an inspiration.
As for your husband, trust is rebuilt slowly. Instead of comparing where you are to your ideal, why not try comparing yourself to where you were a month ago? Bet there's a big difference.
Keep going!

Congrats! I agree that it takes a while to regain trust. I also dont want myself or my wife to forget all the pain and suffering my drinking caused because i want us to use it as a reminder of why i changed my life for the better. That is what is working now. Good luck on another 32 days, you got this!
That's awesome! I can even feel the pride in your post. You deserve it, I'm proud of you too.
32 days is great. Things will just keep getting better. As you see, there are bumps in the road to sobriety. But now, we can handle them.
I wreaked havoc in my life. Staying sober is a big reward.
Best to you.
