...I'm back.

This past year or so has been crazy... Good crazy mostly but I've also fallen back off the bandwagon to the point of really having to resolve never to drink again. I've since relocated since the last time I was on SR and as a result, I was alone for the holidays this week. Passed the time scrolling social media and binge drinking for a solid 4 days straight. I got sick multiple times, felt crappy, made / said some stupid things, hit a depressive state, and skipped work all 4 days.

Now, it's a matter of not dwelling on it (I did that enough all day yesterday and today) but taking responsibility for regaining the genuine sober happiness I had gained the last time I was on here.

I really can;t overemphasise the importance of a recovery plan.

Don't feel bad i did the exact same thing. Congrats on getting back here! I was so pissed off and alone and very resentful that noone called me on Christmas. I'm on Step 4 i guess it's time to add to that list. Have a great day!
