Returning after 4 years

Hello,
It feels great to be back. I was in AA from 2005 to 2011 and was what's commonly known as a one chip wonder. I became sober right away and with the exception of a few mental/psychological cravings during the first couple of months, I had no major trouble quitting. I attended weekly meetings and eventually my attendance faltered leading me to pick up that 1st drink after almost 4 1/2 years of sobriety.

I know the importance of studying the steps and sponsorship. I am unable to attend meetings after work but I am looking for a noon meeting near work that I can attend during my lunch hour. I think I have found one.

I spend over 10 hours a day in front of a computer, mostly work, and would love to be able to find an online sponsor who would guide me through the steps this time around. I did the steps twice with the help of a sponsor in 2005 and 2007 but that seems like centuries ago. I have most of the AA literature, including a Big Book.

Hopefully I can find an available sponsor here.

It does really feel great to be back. AA worked for me once and I know it will work again.

Thank you,

Natalie

Good morning. Thanks Dee and Tommy. Does anyone know a site where I could find an online sponsor?
Feeling excited about my first day sober today. I did not drink on Dec 24 but had a few ounces of egg nog on Chritsmas day so I am setting my sobriety day to today. I had a terrible day on the 23rd. Lots of beer with a coworker and stupid stupid choices. Aggrrwwww.
Hope everyone is having a good sober morning and enjoying the fruits if that.
Natalie
