I can't believe I....

Drank almost 2 litres of spicy Clamato juice last night!😊😊😊

My first sober Christmas in 20 plus years. Holding strong, enjoying friends and family.

I ate a whole tin of chocolates and I don't even like chocolate that much. Didn't pick up a drink though and know that I have a lot of work ahead of me. Better than the work involved in picking up the empties, the spillage the shame, the remorse, anger, fear, and empty pockets the morning after.

Yes- that was a months worth of sodium, but I'll take salt, chocolate, butter laden croissants, and a platter of deep fried chicken over Alcohol!

The hangovers, sweats, naseua, shakes, panic, anxiety, insomnia and irritable intestines and bowel just aren't worth it!

Not to mention the disappointment, self-hate and a return to the feelings of despair and impending doom.

There is no more room in my life for another day one.

A whole box of chocolate biscuits for me at 11pm. After a textbook healthy day....aaaaargh. But no alcohol, so let's just call it a success and keep marching.
