On a happy note
Well I just finished my last Christmas shopping trip. I think I said thank you Jesus after every store. It feels so nice to know that my kids and I will have a peaceful Christmas this year. Last year they open their gifts with only me because my H was mad in the kitchen for an hour, then we went to my family's house in a bad mood because we had to fight before we left my house.
I received a call last night from a mutual friend telling me that I really really really need to drive my H to his treatment. I said no three times but they would not give up and kept insisting that I think about it and change my mind.

HOORAY on getting the shopping done! I still have to make one more dash but can thankfully avoid THE.MALL.
if said mutual friend is so damned concerned about your AH getting to rehab, then said FRIEND can drive him!!!!!!

Do not agree, do not change your mind.
Hang up if they call back.
Glad you are planning a peaceful, happy X-mas for your kids
My alcoholic mother ruined many of mine with her anger and drama,
so I can really appreciate a joyful holiday
