Hello All, I am a new comer to this site and I have tremendous appetite to learn how to deal with and help my son who is an addict as well as being depressed. I have read a few posts and some of them are going through exactly the same thing as my soon. Will get back later. thank you..

Hello and welcome to SR! This is a place of great support. There are many on this forum with addicted children, and also some dual diagnosis issues also.

Welcome Daniel's Dad. I am a mom of a 25 year old addict who is in recovery now. He has been in and out of rehabs for the last 2 years, but I see some good progress recently. Only time will tell. This is a great forum for support and for sharing your thoughts and feelings. Please reach out and read all the stickies.

Welcome to the forum, we are glad you are here and sorry that you need to be.
There are many here with addicted children, my daughter is 24, a heroin addict in new recovery.

Hi DanielsDad. Funny thing: I just had to deal with an addict named Daniel. I'm sorry to hear about your son. I had to just walk away from my addict, for my own well-being and safety. But I did tell his dad he was relapsed in hope that he can help him.
