First Post: I am not a stranger to recovery, I've done it dozens of times. But right now I am concerned about health problems caused by alcohol. I noted in a rehab that a lot of young people there had relatives who died of pancreatic cancer, which concerns me. I have alcoholic ancestors with one pancreatic cancer death (ironically to my aunt who was not known to drink much). So in addition to this forum, I'd like to find a forum on health issues. What caused me to sign up was finding a forum on muscle spasms and drinking on this site, but I cab't find it after registering. Any suggestions as to what site it might have been or might be appropriate? My specific question was, "has anyone experienced muscle spasms at night (with two months sobriety) despite bananas, magnesium, patassium, calcium supplement and diet, and (I think) good hydration.

There's any number of health related forums around - pick one from Google perhaps - but IMO no internet forum can take the place and examination by medical professionals.

We can absolutely share our experience here of muscle spasms for example and what we did - but like Scott said, we couldn't give you any medical advice.

You could try researching your muscle spasm condition but as others have said a doctor visit would do no harm
