Hi,
I am flying home tommorrow. Won't arrive till around 10PM. My daughter will pick me up from the airport.
I have had very little contact with my ah. Just a few texts over the past few weeks. My ah did text me today, to tell me his mom is going to be placed in a nursing home on Tuesday.
My ah said it was breaking his heart, but he's not going down to support his sister who is taking cars of her right now. We took care of her for about 2 1/2 yrs, till my mom passed away this past Jan.
I'm not sure what I'm going to be walking into.
I have totally backed off. I'm not giving my opinion or any advice, even though I care deeply for his mom, and I am very connected in the healthcare world.
I've had such a wonderful, peaceful, and stress less few weeks!! I made another appt to see a lawyer on Wednesday.
I fear this might be the event that pushes him over the edge.

Keep the focus on you, that is all you can do. There will always be that something that sends them on a spiral, you cannot cower and wait for that shoe to drop all the time.
