Coincidence or God talking to me?
Not sure if anyone is familiar with the little daily devotional book titled "The Daily Bread" but it is something I try to read everyday. Each day it is a different message. After receiving the call from the apartment complex that they had an opening for my son and that his move in date is January 16th... I would estimate that he will leave either January 13th or 14th. Someone gave me the January copy of "The Daily Bread" so I thought I would look ahead to see what the reading were for about the time my son was leaving....
January 14th reading is titled "Saying Goodbye". I think my hair stood up when I seen that and I was speechless. I feel God is with me on this journey. Possibly with that he is telling me that he has this under control.

A long time ago, someone on SR posted the quote, "Coincidence is God being anonymous." I was telling a girlfriend at my book club that quote and she liked it so much that she texted it to her teenage daughter. Well, her daughter immediately texted back that she had goosebumps because at that very moment she and her friend had been talking about God.
Anyway, I know God talks to us in these ways.

Love what DoubleDragons said, I had never heard that saying. Yes, I feel that God speaks to us in various ways. I think if I ever heard a real voice claiming to be the voice of God, I'd probably have to be admitted to a psych ward so I'll just trust that God speaks to us in various ways: through coincidence, through other people, through the lessons we learn, through nature, and even through our pets. The love of God has no boundaries.

I would take that as my HP guiding me and showing me he's there. It always make me feel warm inside when things like that happen. And I think that when we are aware of our surroundings and accepting what life presents us we can recognize those moments even more so.
Thanks for sharing - have a peaceful day!
And DoubleDragons - I also really like that saying - thanks for sharing that as well.
