Thanks to the insomnia this week I have probably posted on every thread that I can even remotly relate too. It seems like after years of not letting it sleep my body would jump on sobriety as a chance to catch up, but things just aren't working that way. So, I have decided that we need a thread about absolutly nothing for us poor souls in the middle of detox who just can't seem to get our bedtimes down. Now we can ramble, whine, feel sorry for ourselves, or just have an outlet for the silliness that accompanies insomia. I say that in this thread misspelling is encouraged (who the heck can spell when they go to bed at 4am anyway??), cursing is absolutly permitted (some things can only be expressed with those four letter words), and a full nights sleep is talked about with longing. OK, so maybe I don't have the authority to allow cursing...but darnit just doesn't describe being awake this late and sober!

AWWW Sleep? Whats that? I have been sober now sense October 25,2003.And I still dont sleep.
There seems to be an alarm set in my head that wakes me every 2 hours! Sometimes I think I have had another baby and just dont know it! LMAO
If I did,I probably lost him under the bad from being so tired! LOL

You've had insomnia for almost a year??? Hmmm, so now I know who all those people are that are shopping at wal-mart in the middle of the night. Guess I'll grab a buggy and join em!
