lesa...
You have us. We're in your corner. Always, without question, without judgment.
I am so sorry.

Lesa that's the worst news ever. I've read back on your posts and you've done what you can; now you will need to hold her hand. I know you would have saved her if you could, but it's not your fault.
(((Lesa))) my heart hurts for you and my prayers go out that somehow you can find comfort in how much we all love you and care.
Nothing we do or don't do can make an active addict stop, that's the hard part, their addiction is bigger than a mother's love. You did everything you could to try to save her, but sadly, we don't have the power over them or their addiction.
Please feel comfortable coming here to talk any time you want, we are all here to listen and comfort you.
Big hugs from my heart to yours.

Lesa,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a child is the ultimate fear held by all of us here.
Try to find some comfort in two things - there is nothing you could have done to change your daughter, you are a fine mom and did everything you could for her; and know that your daughter is finally at peace and free from her demons.
Not long ago, I was at a special church service that was geared toward recovery and gratitude. The minister said that God always welcomes sick people into Heaven. I choose to believe that, and I believe your daughter is with him now.
