Rehab Prices.
Hi I just got sober a week ago, and stopped picking up yesterday.
I don't have insurance and I am looking into my Rehab options. Everyone who I have called have been extremely helpful with everything except the most important deal, their prices. I can't decide where to go without knowing all their prices first! Can someone please help me pleasee if nyone maybe has a price list for inpatients and detoxes.. even outpatients so I can figure out the overall costs. Please, no more giving me numbers to call I everything else I need to know.. which rehabs are the most appropiate for etc. I just need to know how much.
Thanks so so much!

Hi and welcome yellowblue
I have no experience to share but I don't know there's any list of rehabs with prices. That doesn't seem like it would be a thing.
I do know of this national database of treatment facilities:
https://findtreatment.samhsa.gov/Tre...essSearch.jspx
enter your general location and then hit the select services button - you can refine your results to things like insurance accepted, sliding scale etc.
best of luck

Rehabs are part of the health care system and in the US, prices in health care are not typically given out because there is basically no set price! Each insurance company negotiates its own price and each facility has its own policies for what they will or will not do for people with limited means. Sometimes a more expensive place could have more liberal assistance policies.
If you don't have insurance to cover it, I'd probably look at Salvation Army, as noted above or else I'd pick a place that has a good record and try negotiating with them.
Good luck!

Because you are in the US, open enrollment under the ACA is happening right now! You have until December 15th to enroll for plans starting January 1, 2016. There are plenty of low cost plans out there, and you may qualify for subsidies based on your income level. Remember that if you don't get health insurance, you are subject to a penalty, so you might as well enroll and take advantage of the health insurance benefits.
Under the ACA, the mental health parity provision provides that most plans cover things like substance abuse treatment. Your insurance may cover all or most of things like detox and rehab. Just read the plan summary sheet when selecting your insurance plan.
And if all else fails, give the Salvation Army a call. But because it is free, you may have to wait a while for a bed.
