40 days!

Thank you to each and every one of you on SR. Whether you have been on here for a day or years, you helped me get to this point on my journey. I am happy to finally feel some self pride in how i have been doing so far. My wife and i are about to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary, and i know a sober husband is the best gift i could give her. I want to encourage everyone who is just starting out that it can be done. I want to reinforce to all those with much more sober time than me that their strength goes farther than they will ever know. Make it a blessed and sober day my friends!

Thanks everyone. We are celebrating at a hot spring/spa. We just got massages and went in the hot springs. While we we there a few couples came over with a bunch of drinks. I just sat there and thought how crazy it would be to pour that poison back into my body after cleansing it. Crazy!
