About a hundred zillion years ago,

I was a 'regular' here.
I got sober here.
Then, when I'd done the 12 Steps,
began realizing the Promises,

I moved over here.

I knew I had a lot of work to do.

Just dropping in for the moment,
to say hello, let others know I'm still around ...
... and still clean and sober.

Last August 29th,
my sponsor drove 300 miles
to present me with my 9 year coin.
I was touched to open my email
and find a greeting and birthday regards
from Soberrecovery.

Much has happened,
as it does with us -
I hope to be online more regularly soon
and will be stopping in more often.

My favorite screen name is BACK!! Seriously, as much as I love wordplay, I'm embarrassed to admit how long it took me to get the joke. Something kept niggling at the back of my mind but one day it hit me like a bolt from the blue. It's like those "Magic Eye" thingies, which I can stare at for days before I see the hidden image and then bam! You can't UNsee it.

So great to see you, and happy to hear things are still going well for you!
