Gettin' ready for the Holidays!
You can actually sing that to the tune of Happy Holidays.
Thanksgiving will be four days with the sober family. Turkey, football, a little domestic stuff only I can do(grunt work). Getting something different this year. For the saturday football, an olive tray. A local market has an olive bar. 20+ olive combos. Yea, it's $8 a pound but it's cheaper than booze!
Christmas! This year will be in a cabin just north of The Great Smokey Mountains Park. We're all skipping presents for this trip. There will be stockings on the mantle. Little gifts. Going to pick up a tree on the way up, and decorate it as soon as we get there. I'm drying fruit for the garland as we speak.
I love my family. They've saved my life.
