My boyfriend is an addict
Hello,
My boyfriend is an addict and currently residing in a sober living facility and has 75 days sober today. I am not an addict or alcoholic myself but have seen the direct effects of what it does to people. I am 24 years old and my biggest problem is finding other people my age in a similar situation as mine to relate to, some days I feel completely alone. I have tried Al-anon and I like the idea but I wish there were more directed toward young people. I'm supportive of my boyfriends recovery but I wish there were other girls my age in my situation I could network with and make new friends in sobriety. Open to suggestions, advice, widsom, and hope.
