Hi, I've never worked with others but I have 10 years November 30 of this year

I tried so hard to find somebody to be my Sponsee. My home group there are a group of women that kind of "hog "all the newcomers. If I could find someone out there that wanted to talk to me it would help me with my program I need to pass this on.

Could you try some different groups to your home group? - are there some Beginners meetings near where you live?

Generally, it's going to take quite awhile before members here begin to know you and trust you. In the meantime, posting in the forums is always a way to help members.

My advice is to continue posting and get to know people and perhaps something will work out. However, as I suggested on your other post, I think you should speak to people at the meetings you attend.

Have you asked your own sponsor what they think you should do Step12?

Every single one of you on this forum who shares personal struggles helps me.

Tell us your story Step12. What has worked? What hasn't worked? What is your favorite book? Did you have an "Ah ha moment"? How many day 1s did you have to do?

Hi there Step 12, I am looking for a sponsor to help me work the steps. My clean date is 11/17/06. If you're still looking for a sponsee I'd love to chat with you.

Welcome M2DAMAX

just so you know this is a reasonably old thread

You could try posting in our 12 step forum as well
