New to the Forums
I'm not quite sure where this belongs, so I'm going to place it here. Sorry if there's a better spot for this elsewhere.
I just decided to look up forums for recovery. Although I am relatively new to recovery in the LONG term, I have been clean/sober (choose whichever word you prefer) for a little over 9 months. Regularly attend meetings (6-9 a week depending on work schedule), work steps, etc.
My life has gotten amazing. I celebrated my 24th birthday in recovery this past May. After spending most of my adult life physically dependent on something or other, I'm finally learning how to grow up, and how to deal with today.
That being said, I can always do MORE for my recovery, so I decided to join these forums. Hopefully I find time to partake (early sobriety is BUSY and I'm pretty awful at time management). I look forward to learning and growing. Thanks.
