Amazing...I feel like I have just achieved something special...
...2 years ago I wanted to get and stay sober so badly.
I could not understand, how, that even though I wanted it so much and that it was a good thing for me, it was so hard.
I would get a few week, months, days...always ending in the same thing....ba boom, drinking.
The whole cycle of of constant relapsing was consuming me and battering my self esteem...I mean, " What is wrong with me, I want this" and "Other people can do this , why can't I."
Coming here and learning about my AV and reading about what had worked for others has made the difference...
It was here that I first read about AVRT, it resonated with me and has made a huge difference to my recovery.
Thank you SR, I honestly do not know where I would be today if I had not found you.
