Smile Eatsa Eatsa!

I kid you not over these 3 days of sobriety I've eaten 6 meals a day and still am hungry at bedtime. My body is making me eat overtime for the deprivation I caused it. Tomorrow I'm going to buy some fruits and vegetables because that may be why these meals are not cutting it. Pizza, pasta, chicken sandwiches, barbecued chicken, coffee, hot chocolate, cold cut sandwiches...bread and meat...bread and meat...

I allowed myself to eat what I wanted early on. Worry about eating healthy later. Your brain has gone into survival mode just feed it. Unfortunately, when u take away alcohol, ur brain actually believes you are in danger. It will level out. Keep up the good work!

I agree with countrygirl - I ate a lot in early recovery because I needed to - my body was pretty depleted.

Try to eat healthy - things will settle down eventually.

One of the many things I've found enjoyable about being sober is having a healthy appetite. And tasting food. And remembering eating it.

Bon appetit!
