Withdrawals from binge drinking?
I've been getting really, really bad hangovers that basically cripple me for the day. Depression, panic attacks\heart beating like mad, butterflies, jitters/shakes, running to the toilet. I'm wondering if it's something more than just a bad hangover? I always associated withdrawals with serious daily 24\7 drinkers, do you get withdrawals from binging? Or is it possibly alcohol poisoning or something? These hangovers or whatever they are seem to be getting worse.
Have you read about kindling? Sounds like it...Here's a link to a thread here:

there's a pretty simple solution to assure you never feel like that again.....binge drinking does just as much (if not more) damage than "serious" drinking. your body is trying very hard to give you a message....are you ready to listen?

Yes, I am trying to get sober and it's starting to feel like my body is telling me to stop. I'm gonna listen to it this time, it feels like I'm living on borrowed time until I start getting health problems. I had a minor liver problem due to drinking last year and have so far been lucky. I don't want to push that luck.
Hey, the exact same thing happens to me now, I've never been a daily drinker, I usually binge on wine a couple times a week.
I don't get hangovers now, I get withdrawals I think , it takes 3-4 days to just feel normal again :/

Yeah, that is the same as me. I'm ill the day after, feel hung over on day two and then groggy after that for a day or two. Then it all starts again and I never feel right. I'm absolutely sick to death of it.
Insomnia
Day 2- can get up, go to work etc, really bad anxiety, depression, kinda nervous in general ( I'm not prone to nervousness or anxiety without alcohol)
Insomnia
Day 3, feel better, anxiety going away, skin looks normal, thinking about going to yoga and doing other hobbies, like a walk by the river or reading etc
Insomnia gets better
Day 4- I feel happy, normal, skin and eyes clear again, no anxiety, doing my hobbies being productive. Drink wine
Day 1....
So sick of it too
Totally agree about the "kindling" piece. It is sooooooooo true. The beauty is you don't have to go through this hell again......you will feel so much better once you stop drinking and start your sober journey.

My last hangover was the mother of all hangovers......in addition to all your symptoms.......I also vomited 3 times ........I had drank in about 50 days and then I drank about 10 Coronas..........I was not right for about 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure I had alcohol poisoning.
