Glad to be here
I haven't been here for about 3 months. Only been to a few meetings in 3 months. Didn't drink but I know this can't be good. Don't know why. I have a couple of excuses but there really is no excuse for putting one's recovery on the back burner. Glad to be back here. I am also craving a meeting and will take care of that tomorrow. Anyway, so grateful that SR is here and full of wisdom 24/7. Talk to you soon.
Hi Girlie!
Please check in at the 24-Hour Club, where we commit to stay sober the next 24 hours.

I don't post much but I read sr on my phone before bed. It is a good daily reminder of where I've been and where I could be in two seconds. Reading a few posts nightly is a good recommended daily requirement for my sobriety diet. Meetings, SR, whatever it takes, best to not stay away for too long:-) I need to go say hi to my local meeting too come to think of it!
Lorax - that's a great idea: Paying SR a daily visit. People's stories on here, and the really gracious and enlightening advice is very helpful in my own recovery process.
Anyway, welcome back Girlie. I've been lurking on here for almost a year but am back as well. Here's to us! (holding up a large cup of water)
