Doing it...
Hey guys,

It's just occurred to me: it was my birthday today, and also day 120/4 months, and I didn't want to drink.

It didn't even occur to me to drink. Normally it would be a good excuse to get smashed (as if it wasn't something I did every day anyway!)

It's only now, at midnight, laying here reading LOTR with some fruit juice, that I realised. This is working! My many other attempts to get sober ended over much more feeble excuses than that. This time, I don't miss it one bit.

Finally, I'm doing it. I can't be complacent, but maybe a little bit proud
