Hello
Hello
Hi guys, hope you are all well.
My name is Paul and I live in the North East of England, I have struggled with alcohol abuse for over 30 years.
It's now time for me to make a huge effort to cut out the alcohol 100%, I have been coughing up blood most mornings for the last 4 or 5 months, anyway, gonna have a look about the forums and hopefully take in some encouragement.
Joining my local gym on Monday, so looking forward to the future.
All the best.

Hi Soberish, I'm in England UK my friend, I live in a town called Berwick, which is on the English/Scottish border.
Hey there Paul. It's wonderful to have you join us. You never have to feel alone.
Me too - 30 years of this mess. I never imagined I could live without it, but in the end it brought me nothing but misery. It feels great to be free of it. You can do this.

Hey Paul,
Welcome to SR! I'll suggest getting the coughing up blood issue checked out by a doctor as soon as possible also. In addition, I'd let the doctor know your plan to get sober.
Please check in frequently and let us know how you're doing. You're in for the battle of your life and we'll be with you every step of the way!

Anyhow, I think its great you made the decision to get sober. I agree with the others to see a doctor as well. Is today day 1?
