Random acts of kindness
Yeah, a friend of my gf's family knew we were struggling, and out of the blue gave us five grand for a new car. Never even met the woman. That was years ago and even now she refuses our sincere offers of repayment.
I always try to help people in any way I can. It makes you feel amazing.
PS I can see you've sent me a message SW, but can't read them on my phone. Will reply when I get on the PC

I remember when I was a travel rep working in Greece I was 18 & living on my own out there.....Well on one of the nights I was working I had a late arrival it was around 2am and it was raining heavily as it was towards the end of the season
So there I am litrelly getting soaked through I was in my suit looked smart but extremely wet when I heard a tiny lil Greek lady trying to get my attention I walked over as it was all restraunts & bars closing up for the night
She couldn't speak hardly any english & my Greek was minimal but she gave me coffee & a sandwich and a towel to dry my face & neck she smiled at me and she wouldn't accept my money
I will never forget that Greek lady that was around this time 15 years ago

A few days ago I was eating lunch outside and a girl walked up and asked me if I wanted some free stuff. I was like "what kind of free stuff do you have?". She said she had some sodas and gave me a couple. It was very nice of her, and it was a double plus because I was tired of drinking my plain old water.
