44th year...
Today's the first day of my 44th year.....

Yesterday, I completed the last day of my 43rd year....

Today I rose to 671 days sober....

Today the sunrise was beautiful, my daughters gleeful, my life warm and rewarding.

Today I am grateful, present, at peace and celebrating so much in my life.

Today is a lovely day and without this forum's help and the journey I've been on for nearly two years.... I'm sure today would not be nearly so bright. Who know... perhaps this day would not even have come....

Today I can say to all of you - I'm thankful for you in my life; 'old timers' and newcomers alike.

And Today I can tell you without any reservations whatsoever that life is better sober.

To clarify... I'm 43 today. But my Dad kindly pointed out that the day I 'turn 43' - I also begin the first day of my 44th year......

SO thanks... now I feel even OLDER, Dad!!! hahaha....

Anyway, it's my 44th YEAR but I will be embracing Forty-THREE until this time next year, lol.
