Hey guys.

I'm not an alcoholic (yet?), but I am addicted to pot.

I quit a few times before, and I am quitting again now.

This time feels a little harder I guess. Craving like hell.

Seems like I am craving beer as well, and food.

Sleepy at day and can't sleep at night.

Hope I can make through the weekend, I really want to.

Hey, Paco. I quit smoking pot about 20 years ago. I was an every day smoker, sometimes wake n' bake, usually smoked throughout the day but at the very least I needed it to sleep every night. When I quit smoking sleep was hard to come by for a while. It does get better. It was a long time ago but if memory serves it was a week or so of struggling, then it evened out some.

I had moved to a new city where I had no access to pot and was too poor to buy it anyway so I sort of quit against my will. Never regretted giving it up, though.

Fast forward a decade and I was drinking pretty much every day, whereas before I just plain didn't like alcohol. Tread carefully, mi amigo!

I quit 31 days ago, marijuana is my drug of choice but I have also had issues with drinking. The first week was tough but I have already come a long way. Stick with it and post here whenever you need to, we've got your back.

I gave up pot 12 days ago.......I have so much more energy ......and anxiety.......but my head is clear and I'm back working.

They may be true...Mikey......but I miss my pot....a lot......much much more than the beer I was consuming......
