Sounds good. The whole thing about alcohol in moderation is good for you is BS.

Apple cider vinegar on a small salad or sandwich is an awesome choice.

Lemon juice and water, w no sweetner, is something else I believe helps me.

Hello there

I have googled liver detox and when I don't drink I always drink green tea, plenty of garlic, any green vegetables are also good and the water you mentioned obviously the number one choice. I chug it down, a belly full of water instead of alcohol is a much more satisfying feeling!

I don't think I've ever read something that claimed moderate drinking is "good for you" but rather that it can have certain health benefits, and that's a whole other meaning entirely. For example, moderate drinking has been shown to raise HDL levels, which is healthy for the heart, but that could be achieved instead by either exercising, dropping weight, quitting smoking for smokers, or choosing olive oil over vegetable oil rather than drinking in moderation, but everything has a toxicity level.

Articles like this are all over the internet. You don't necessarily have to go to a publication source to read stories like this these days.
