i dont know weather i should write this at all
this morning i went to confession because i thought it was the right thing to do am born roman Catholic i havent been to confession in years but felt it was needed to be done .
i was abused by a priest when i was young
tonight am feeling so triggered because i can smell tobacco one of my abusers smelt of tobacco
my personalities feel upset we want to hurt ourselves but there nothing here we can use to hurt ourselves
want to use want to drink too late to go to an AA meeting
I'm glad you're feeling a little better DM.
I'm Catholic too but I haven't been to Confession in a long time. I preferred it when they had the mass ceremony Rite of Reconcilliation.
I don't think there's anything wrong at all with simply praying to God and asking Him to absolve your sins.

Hey DM, I have a past too that haunts me and it's gotten me drunk on many nights. I'm doing everything I can to try to let it go, and at this point everything is on the table. I hope you can find the right steps to work through it and move on to a great life ahead of you. Do whatever it takes. Good luck.
