Worried I may have cancer

I had a biopsy of my thyroid today. It really stressed me out they had to take a lot of samples I have suspicious nodules and lymph nodes. I'm so afraid of having thyroid cancer. They will have to remove my thyroid. I've had many health problems for years now. I had respiratory arrest, a pulmonary embolism, back and neck were injured in a car accident. I was the passenger I didn't drive then cause I lived in a big city then I had to go to physical therapy and also had procedures done on my back. They burned the nerves. I went through quite a few of those treatments. They would go with a needle on the left and right side of my lower spine to kill the nerves cause I had a lot of pain walking I went from being someone that walked everywhere and now there I was having to depend on my husband to take me to all these Drs. I also had a ruptured cyst on my ovaries and a cyst on my breast. Plenty of dr visits. It caused such stress I ended up in psych wards 3 different times in 3 years I've been hospitalized 8 times in between dr appointments. Would all this cause someone severe fatigue cause I now have that I feel exhausted I also have a vitamin d deficiency and now I have low blood pressure. I would think I'd have high blood pressure with all my stress and this is only my health I'm not even getting into everything else that was going on in my personal life tragedy losses. Just crazy! anyway I needed to vent this I feel so broken and have pain in my neck from the biopsy I can't eat and I'm hungry. Well glad I got this out of my system

Marylynn.......I'm sorry for your health problems.......having your thyroid gland removed seems common where I live. Those people go on synthyroid which is a medicine. The people I see with that problem seem to do fine. As for your throat.......how about some ice cream.

Sending you healing thoughts. A cancer scare is an awful thing to go through--the mind just races. Dee's advice is good. Breathe and be good to yourself. Xo

Im sorry for your worries. However thyroid cancer can be cured. And many people live long happy lives without a thyroid. Hoping for the best.

Goodness Marylynn! You've had more than your fair share of stuff...I bet you want to say, "Enough already!"

Try not to think too far ahead and take it one step at a time...

If possible find enjoyable things to keep you occupied until you get the results...that might take your mind off it...s

Stressing about the results will not change the outcome...that's what I try to tell myself when I start to worry....

Hopefully it is helpful to be able to vent about it all someplace (like here)

Blessed Be..
