So much life

I used to be on SR alot, quite a few years ago and it was helpful. Since 2009 sometime I suppose. I've lived alot of life in the past 6 years, some abstinent, some not so much. I've watched my kids grow into adults, I lost my wife of 15 years 2.5 years ago, I have a grandchild, my dear mother has cancer and I've married again to a long time close friend who's been amazing. Alot of life lived....haven't had a drink in 3 days.

sounds like some ups, some downs, some good, some bad, some sober, some not.....

sounds, too, like you're ready for more sober than not?

I'd say that's a good call.

Good question...plan. I've put myself into many plans, you name it...AA, this site, re-hab...etc. I've got a long history, but I just know I haven't had a drink today and I'm not going to in the next hour/s. Thanks for the comments and the welcome back. Haven't been on here for a few years.
