First AA Meeting yesterday

I was really scared about going, but listened to an audio talk about overcoming fear and went anyway. It turned out to be pretty good,
Of course I did "pass" when it came my turn, but will talk at the next meeting. It was in a pretty scary neighborhood anyway, so I think I will try a little better area today. Thanks for listening!
Going to make this work!

Congratulations, that's taking a big step I know. But good for you. Keep going back.

Glad you made it along - it will be easier next time as long as you get along to a second meeting relatively soon.

You can pass for as long as you like. I've been going to my home group meeting for over a year, and there's one guy who I'd only heard speak once, and that was in a break time rather than as a share of any sort (he does talk to a few people though). He's there listening, and he's sober. Hopefully he'll want to share more soon, because he seems a nice bloke, but better he be there and silent than not there at all for fear of speaking eh.

Good luck in your AA journey
