Hello everyone,

I've been sober for 8 months, then i've had my shares of relapses and slips. Since the beginning of the year i tried continuously to get sober for good, but i drank maybe once or twice a month, not because i absolutely wanted to, but because i couldn't cope with the feelings i got from that god awful relationship i had.

Unfortunately or fortunately, the only good thing happened, we broke up. I was a wreck since then, but i didn't want to ease the pain anymore, so i didn't drink.
I'm slowly starting to get back to normal, the anger and all the bad feelings are starting to dissipate. Picked up my gym routine again, and i'm feeling less sad everyday.

I didn't start a thread back in august, because i wasn't sure for how long i'll be able to keep myself sober. Now i am. I'm starting to get in the mindset i was before, when i was able to mantain sobriety and enjoy my life. I threw that away for a stupid reason. Never again.
