I accept
I accept:
- I'm an alcoholic and always will be
- I can treat my illness but I will never cure it
- Recovery is a journey not a destination
- I have to be willing to change and change anything
- There is so much wisdom in others so I have to listen
- I can't do this on my own
- If I'm not moving forward in my recovery I'm moving backward
- I can't change people places or things but I can change myself
- My higher power does for me what I can't do for myself
- Absolutely nothing is as important as my sobriety
- Giving back is critical to my sobriety
- Alcohol wants me dead
- There is a wonderful world waiting to be enjoyed as long as I remain sober
