Gratitude

I am so thankful for this forum. I am really using it this go around and have found it to be extremely helpful.

In chat last night, we had a really good conversation and I realized so much about myself. Things that definitely need attention and perhaps was the reason for failing before.

As of today I am 16 days sober, physically getting stronger everyday and emotionally making progress. I have made progress in my personal and religious life. Each day is a new day and I am trying to make positive changes to get where I need to be.

Thank you to everyone for posting their good days as well as bad days. Seeing the bad is just as important to me as the good. I never want to go back to the drunk me.

Hugs to all of my SR buddies!!!

Yes well done on 16 days. The longer you go, the more people start trusting you which is really nice. I let my wife and family down a lot in the past but now they trust me to get by on my own a bit more without going out and getting pissed.
